Noah is 4!

I had this post in my mind but didn't know exactly what to say...I had played around with it for a while.

I cannot believe my first born is 4! Where did the time go? He is a challenge and such a reward! He can make me lose my mind and then melt my heart all in a matter of minutes. I am so glad that we decided not to send him to Pre-K this year and give me an extra year to do stuff with him. He will start going to a real Sunday school this Sunday and I cannot wait to find out what will come out of his mouth after that!

I remember when we found out that I was pregnant. We are apparently not good planners, or God knows better that we do! I think it is the latter! I was sad at first, for maybe 2 minutes, then so excited. We went ahead and told everyone! I knew like 3 days after missing my cycle that something was up. Then went to the doctor to confirm. I think my first sonogram was when we found out we were having a boy. My mom went with us. Andrew was so happy. I didn't care as long as we had a healthy baby. Then we got started on the room. We live in a 2 bedroom condo, so we had to do away with our office and make a nursery. My mom and Andrew painted the room and we had a shelf that goes all around the room put in by some people at church. I loved the room, and still do!

The day came and the doctor decided to induce with us knowing that a c-section may come because I had some hypertension with Noah. And he was BIG! So we went to the hospital early that morning on June 10, 2004. I had an epidural I believe around lunch time...but ever got any further that 6 cent. So the doctor around 5:30 decided to do a C-section. He was born at 6:14 pm weighing in a 9 lbs 3.5 oz. I cried like a baby the first time I saw him. I couldn't believe that little miracle was mine!

So here we are 4 years later...a lot has happened since then! We gave Noah a brother almost 3 years later, which I don't think he appreciates just yet! I love my boys and I'm so glad to have the opportunity to stay at home and raise them. I know I'm made mistakes with Noah, he is the first after all. But I hope that one day he will forgive me! I love him so much and wish him a happy birthday!

Time does go so fast once you have a child especially. I know ya'll have struggled for you to be home but have been so blessed to be able to be home with the boys. They are so blessed to have you as their mom and though our timing is flawed God's is always perfect. May God continue to bless you and your family. Thank you also for allowing us to share in you lives. We love you all. Bonnie
