I know it has been a long time since I posted, over a week! I am still pregnant and been here cleaning and trying to take up some special time with my boys before the baby gets here! They are still asleep right now after a long night of shopping with me and my parents. I went to the store last night to try to buy stuff for supper for at least a week, and to make extra to freeze for after the baby gets here. I think I got everything! I am planning on making burritos, hamburger soup, white chili, chicken broccoli and rice, and chicken pot pie. All of this should freeze well and hopefully help out the wallet after baby gets here!
After my doctor visit last week, my doctor upped my insulin again for both doses. She thinks it is still too high in the morning. So now to me, for the last week, it has been really low. I have been VERY careful about what I eat and don't eat. In fact a lot of times at night I won't eat a "snack." I will just drink some milk and go to bed kind of early. She wanted me to cut out a few carbs, so that helps. Her nurse called the other day to check my levels and she is happy with them and wants me to continue doing what I'm doing.
I probably won't be posting a lot in the next couple of weeks. I'm trying to stay off the computer while the boys are up to do more stuff with them before the baby comes and with Christmas in just a few days I will be busy with wrapping presents when they aren't looking, and just enjoying time with family. And then the baby could come any time before the first to the year but who knows. Just God and her I guess!
I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a wonderful time with family and friends! Remember what Christmas is all about. Presents are great, but the birth of Jesus is what we should be celebrating. God bless you all!

Heather, when I was pregnant, my doc didn't want me drinking milk without having some sort of protein with it, to slow down the sugar from the milk. Have you tried that, to see if your numbers are different afterward?
