A date set

I have a date set for my surgery! Yeah, I am so excited. I don't know why, I mean I will be in pain for a while, but I am so ready to get my life back. I really want to lose a little weight before I go in have it done. I am really trying to watch what I eat and how much. I also got Turbo Jam before I got pregnant with Abbi and I am determined to start doing it again! I just have to make myself get up before the kids and do it! It's not that hard, at least as far I got before! Seems like every time I would make some progress with exercising I would get pregnant! At least I know that can't happen now!

I also have some organizing to do and some things that I just need to get rid of. It will make it easier when I have to have someone come and help with the kids. The doctor told me I will need some help for about 2 weeks if not longer. It will be hard with little ones but I know I will have Andrew for one week, and of course my wonderful mom, and my MIL, and my cousin has volunteered to help out too. So I won't be without great help! I have about 6 weeks, do you think I could lose at least 20 pounds by then?

I apologize for being so long in between posts! I have been dealing with some sick children. Just some nasty colds, but still. With them not feeling well, I haven't been on the computer much. This past weekend was a busy one! Noah had his first "Wee" ball game. It was an exhibition game after their pictures. The league he plays for has a big fundraiser and it is fun for the kids. He is so cute in his Braves uniform. He couldn't be happier that he on the Braves. We are in GA and we love us some Atlanta Braves!

Sunday our niece Grace was dedicated to Jesus. It was nice. We had dinner at church after the service. Then I returned some movies and went Kroger-ing. I really went in for milk, but of course, came out with a lot more! They had a lot of good stuff on sale.

I am contemplating joining a local MOPS group. I have heard a lot of good things about it so I think I am going to join. With Noah in school I figure I'll already be up and out so I might as well go!

Pain and suffering

Let me just start out with saying that I have been lazy...well really I have been in pain! I have a hernia that I finally got approval from the insurance to have fixed. It is around my belly button and when it hurts, it hurts bad! I am pretty much out of commission while I sit around in PAIN! So after saying that I am sitting here looking around the house...and let's just say it needs work! I am feeling better today after about a 48 hour "flair up" of the hernia. I am calling the doctor today to schedule a day for my surgery. The sooner the better so I can get back to my life!

In other news we had a nice Easter. We went to sunrise service with my parents and had breakfast at their church. Then we went to our church where I had to stay in the nursery. It was okay though. We have a TV downstairs with a camera so that we can watch the service. Then we went to my cousins for dinner. Then of course I started hurting so I ended up falling asleep on the couch. I did get to see the boys hunt for eggs.

I hate that I was hurting and the fact that I wasn't much fun to be around! My children suffer ever time this happens and I will be so glad to have to taken care of! I am feeling better today so I will doing some cleaning and playing with my children. They are the most important part of my day!

Easter

It is Easter and I have so much to do! Easter egg hunts, cooking, cleaning...just a long to-do list. I just wanted to take a minute to thank Jesus for what he did for me and you. It is simply amazing to think that He loves us that much to die for OUR sins! Thank you Jesus...so much!
