Some random stuff

I have my second doctor's appointment this afternoon. I am already 14 weeks and starting my second trimester. I think I feel the baby moving already. If that is possible! I have heard that you can feel them moving earlier with progressive pregnancies, at least on the inside. I don't think that I have gained any weight. Which is good because with Noah and Jonah I gained a lot early. And kept gaining! We will see when I go to the doctor today!

I really haven't written about the boys in a while. Noah finished his swimming class and passed level 1. He jumped off the diving board on his last day of class. I was so proud of him! He is really amazing me at his level of understanding! He just seems to get smarter everyday!

Jonah is learning a lot as well. He is so cute when I tell him to put something in the trash can, he will say trash can, or something close, and put it in the trash can. Of course, he will put anything and everything in there if I'm not watching him every minute. I have found some interesting things in there lately. Sippy cups, pacis, some toys, etc. I tried to put in the pantry but it is too wide to fit!

Have a good day and I will report on the dr. visit later on today or tomorrow!

Happy 4th!

Just wanted to take a few minutes to tell everyone to have a safe and happy 4th of July! I am so thankful and blessed to be living in this country. Even as bad it is sometimes there are still places that have it much worse than we do. We want to give a big thank you to everyone serving on our armed forces. We appreciate you all and your family for the sacrifices they have made. Happy Independence Day!

I am still around

I am still here...just sort of on vacation. The girls are gone this week so I have been, um attempting to clean up some. Of course I have not got much done. Jonah is being such a momma's boy that he won't let me out of his sight! I don't mind though. He is sitting in my lap right now, which make this kind of hard to type! See you all soon!

I've kept this secret long enough!

I have to announce that I am 11 weeks pregnant! Boy, was this one a surprise! Apparently we are good at surprises! I was a little upset at first, but now I am excited to have another child on the way.

This is not the best scanning in the world but I couldn't figure out how to make it bigger! I have been sick, and so lazy but at least I know why! I pray that everything goes well and we will have a healthy baby by Christmas this year!

Noah is 4!

I had this post in my mind but didn't know exactly what to say...I had played around with it for a while.

I cannot believe my first born is 4! Where did the time go? He is a challenge and such a reward! He can make me lose my mind and then melt my heart all in a matter of minutes. I am so glad that we decided not to send him to Pre-K this year and give me an extra year to do stuff with him. He will start going to a real Sunday school this Sunday and I cannot wait to find out what will come out of his mouth after that!

I remember when we found out that I was pregnant. We are apparently not good planners, or God knows better that we do! I think it is the latter! I was sad at first, for maybe 2 minutes, then so excited. We went ahead and told everyone! I knew like 3 days after missing my cycle that something was up. Then went to the doctor to confirm. I think my first sonogram was when we found out we were having a boy. My mom went with us. Andrew was so happy. I didn't care as long as we had a healthy baby. Then we got started on the room. We live in a 2 bedroom condo, so we had to do away with our office and make a nursery. My mom and Andrew painted the room and we had a shelf that goes all around the room put in by some people at church. I loved the room, and still do!

The day came and the doctor decided to induce with us knowing that a c-section may come because I had some hypertension with Noah. And he was BIG! So we went to the hospital early that morning on June 10, 2004. I had an epidural I believe around lunch time...but ever got any further that 6 cent. So the doctor around 5:30 decided to do a C-section. He was born at 6:14 pm weighing in a 9 lbs 3.5 oz. I cried like a baby the first time I saw him. I couldn't believe that little miracle was mine!

So here we are 4 years later...a lot has happened since then! We gave Noah a brother almost 3 years later, which I don't think he appreciates just yet! I love my boys and I'm so glad to have the opportunity to stay at home and raise them. I know I'm made mistakes with Noah, he is the first after all. But I hope that one day he will forgive me! I love him so much and wish him a happy birthday!

Noah's 4th Birthday

It is Noah's 4th birthday today! I cannot believe he is 4 already! Where has time gone? I will post another post tomorrow. I have one written out at home...we are at my parents house right now for cake! Happy Birthday to my big boy! I love you!

Ramdoness...

I have been here, just not getting on the computer too much the last few days. Saturday we went to Savannah for a family wedding. We went down to the beach after the wedding for my mom to take some "beach" pictures of us. A few turned out really well!

Sunday I actually went to church. By myself...with the boys. I was a little late, but I made it! I'm glad I made it. The sermon was great. It was about T-shirt wearing Christians. My pastor made a metaphor, if that is the right word, to how people go on trips and bring back t-shirts like "My parents went to The Grand Caymans and all I got was this lousy t-shirt." It really made a lot of sense. All about how people get saved and instead of telling people about how God is working in their life and living in victory, they complain about how bad life is. His point was if you are truly saved you would be walking victoriously WITH God and not talking about it like it was a memory! Really Good! I guess you could say he stepped on my toes with that one!

Noah started swimming lessons yesterday. He did really good! There were only 3 kids in his half of the class so far. I think they are supposed to have 5 but I guess 2 didn't show up. It sounded like they were brothers so I don't know what happened to them. Maybe they will be there today. He was so excited about the class and he couldn't stop talking about it the rest of the night!

Jonah is becoming quickly Mr. Independent but still wants Mommy around. A lady at church that loves to get him during the service came and got him, but had to bring him back. I think that separation anxiety is starting to hit. He has never really cried to come back to me!

I will try to take a picture of Noah today at the pool. I'm not sure but another parent was taking a picture yesterday and it sounded like you aren't supposed to take pictures...which I think is dumb! You should be able to take a picture of anything monumental in your child's life, so we will see. See you all soon!

Back to the old grind...

Hello all! I have been enjoying my long weekend with the husband, the boys, and family! We had a great time at the lake on Saturday. Noah actually loved the water. I am so glad he starts swimming lessons on Monday! He is getting over that fear...to my dismay!

Sunday I was lazy and didn't go to church! Not really, I must have slept funny or something, my neck hurt bad! So I stayed home. I know, not a good excuse. We went to my aunt's house for some good food and hung out with the cousins who were in town.

Monday I didn't really do much, went to a couple of stores with my dad and mom. I actually found some Wiggles DVD's. CHEAP! I bought them. I figure in a few years I'll be able to sell them if nothing else. They will be classics with Greg! Andrew was working late so I went to my Mom's and cooked dinner while they went and loaded my dad's truck for today. I made Italian chicken, butter potatoes, carrots, broccoli, and bread. It was pretty good, if I do say so myself!

Today I had intended on cleaning...of course not much got done. Noah did help me clean the living room. And I washed quite a few loads of laundry. I made deviled eggs and a chocolate bread pudding. We ate at my Granny's as we usually do every Tuesday. We had barbecue and man was it good! Potato salad and baked beans. I have been a cooking kick lately. Which Andrew is very glad of! I am going to make pork chops tomorrow before church. Hopefully the kids will be good and I can get done in time! Gwen and Lili will be back tomorrow. I have kind of missed them!

I totally forgot to take my camera with me to the lake so I have NO pictures. I'm a little ticked at myself! I charged the battery and everything and forgot to get it! Oh well! I just have to get some of the pictures that Mom took.

Have a great day, until I see you again!
